Got a call from my sister today. My dad passed away this afternoon. Still in shock. He had undergone a carotid artery angioplasty about a month ago and seemed to be feeling better. at least he told me he was doing better. it was 90% blocked before the procedure. i think in hindsight he knew he was dying. he kept going through these old pictures of me and my sisters and grandparents and gave me a bunch the last few times went to visit. my big regret is the last time i stopped down he asked me for a ride to the pub he hung out at to watch the football games and asked me if i had time for a beer. i said no that i had to get home and make dinner for my son and he said next time i'd like you to come watch the game and have a beer with me, the bartended is a good friend of mine and i'd like you to meet her. i said i would but it seems we'll never have that beer and meet his friend. i;m gonna miss him.

Im very sorry for your loss. Dont consume yourself with the thought of regrets though man BD.Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments.

thanks you guys. i'll miss him i;m sure and it will suck but i'm honored and lucky to have folks like you to lean on. He was family but you are my friends and friends are the family you choose. thanks you guys.You may not recognize your mom when you get home, I shaved her back.
