i guess....seriously, i've been driving ford since 1985 and really dont remember ever having a prob. thats all my whole family drives and we never got a ford discount (until dealers were able to get them starting in 1998ish). uncles, cousins...everyone. i dont believe there was some HUUUUUGE diff between them. i honestly dont. you get good and bad in every carline and for every "i had a ford ____ and it was piece of shyt" story i hear, i can tell you about customers that i've had that had prob's with every other carline!! (exept austin martin....not alot of the "piece of shyt" story's there!! lol). i think it's a mind set more than anything else. a "the grass is always greener" senario.

My dad is a Ford man too Dave. He has always driven Fords as long as I can remember. They've had a few other cars from other manufactures but he always goes back to Ford. My dad drives Expedition, mom & my brother both have Taurus'. Yes, I'm the black sheep in the family. My husband drives a Chevrolet Silverado

True Dave, i have only Ford's (Obviously) in my garage and i have never had a problem with my F150's, it's just they could have done a better job at different points like the frames one year, the electrical the next, body style's, remember when the f150 had that girly look to thenm a few years back? Ugh.

yea...i didnt like that styl at first, but it grew on me. we had a 2000 lariet, flareside 4x4 excab and it was one of the nicest trucks we've had!
i think all makes have gone through that shyt...different times, different probs. look at the electrical in honda's mini vans and pilots from 2001-2006. i honestly have not spoke too 1 person who has owned one and not had a prob! and the chrsler....well....everything!! look at that junk, lol

I actually saw a K-car the other day when i was going to work, a lil' ol lady was driving it and it was in a-1 condition...last one on the road i think
