so i got this kid (26) wants to buy a car. 680 becon score, on the job 5 years, makes 2k a month, has 1- 5year open credit card. (4000 high allowed, 1200 on the card) has 5-6 other cards but has 87% available (LOW balances on cards). he wants a $200 month payment...focus, cobolt...whatever. very, VERY resonable. banks turn him down....they (the banks) say he needs to be in the credit bureua for 10yrs...ARE YOU FUKIN KIDDING ME!!!! a kid has to get a credit card on his 18th birthday, pay good for 10 fukin yrs to buy his first car at 28???!! bullshyt. mean whike, sitting at the desk next to him is this dude with 2...not 1, but 2 fukin repo's. $1500 down (my kid has 500) and SIGNING for a escalade!!! i shyt you not!! mr "good pay. responcible" cant get a focus, but homie can get a escalade??!! needless to say, the kids was bummed. i thought he would crawl under a rock and go away...he didnt. yesturday he came back with his brother. 34yrs old, postal carrier, homeowner (500month mortgage) makes 4400 month. he'll co-sign. lastnight...they were turned down...WTF IS GOING ON HERE???!!! this is how we're gonna pull our nation out of this funk??!! primary buyers cant get a loan, but bad credit people have ALL KINDS OF OPTIONS FOR FINANCING!!!! this is truly sickening....fukin disgrace...and nobody's outraged? we give these fukers 700bil and they use the money to buy eachother out and sit on it? thats supposed to help? we are a bunch of idiots. i feel SO fukin stupid for belonging to a system like this. i would LOVE to get the attention of pulson for 15mins!! 15mins to see what the fuk his major malfunction is!!! i'm so disgusted, pissed, disappointed in myself and the people of this nation, it makes me fukin sic!

Damn that doesn't make any sense. Can you guys find other lenders. a buddy of mine was denied at one dealership and went to another 40 miles away and got approved for more. I know in my business ever since lehman brothers and $hit started going down - there are some people in the financial industry that are just way too skittish to sign off on anything - their scared of their own shadow.

Our company has had an AMEX for about 5 years with a limit of $10K. They just lowered it to $1900. Then we get an offer and approval for an AMEX with no level - WTF???

I know what you mean. It's crazy. My credit score is 800, and my husband's is close to it. The bank turn us down TWICE for the loan on our building. I don't know what's going to happen now. We have spent a lot of money renovating it and have been living in it for a year now and can't secure a loan.

gosh sub-prime loan business, excluding homes, has been the only sane bunch for the last 20 years, this business is flush and operating as normal, there clientel is still risky as hell, so they get the same rates they always got, and bank the pfofits

THEY HAVE MONEY TO LOAN

banks, go bust, fed saves em, 700 bil they get, heck they can make more money letting it sit making interest on the money and finally save there arses

I JUST PAID OFF ONE OF MY $5000 AMERICAN EXPRESS AND CLOSING MY CARD FOR GOOD. I GOT A LETTER SAYING MY APR WILL GO UP #$#$#$ AND I SAID fOOCK THAT..I NEVER BEEN LATE ONCE AND ALWAYS PAID MORE AND ITS PAID OFF AND THEY WANT TO INCREASE MY SHIT.
I GOT ANOTHER ONE BY MASTERCARD WITH A LIMIT OF $6000 AND 7.99 APR AND KEEPING IT IN CASE OF EMERGENCIES

chase is pulling BACK from auto loans in the midwest..
contacted 8lenders today...none signing new dealers. most said they are restricting loans now. now...i've shotgunned this kid all over town...i cant get a bite with him and hia bro. this is the second deal to go this way for me. people want to buy cars...banks aint giving up the dough. trips right, secondary is dealing with the same shyt bags they've always dealt with...biz as usual for them!! they are actually seeing better paper...620's, 630's. 640's...people who always got prime, now have to settle for 18 to 20% if they need tranportation...witch is gonna put them in a never ending cycle of either paying too much a month past there budget or getting cheaper (often times less reliable) transportation...then they break down, then they let it repo, now they deserve 20%!!! we'll make secondary buyers out of them!

well the prob aint getting him a subprime loan...the dude should be prime!! i hate doing that to people man...see if your buddy is signing dealers. if he is, forward me his company info. we're laying 40cars a month with drive financial and i promise we can move some of that paper down the road. drive is pretty tuff for us (heavy fees), and the customer! see if he wants to do biz/ i'd appreciate it
