I really want to get a tattoo that runs down my tri. I am also about to start training more serious. My question is, if I get the tat and start training and my arm grows alot, will that make the tattoo looked screwed up? I am worried about that....I would already have it if it wasn't for that question.

if the arm grows proportionatly thr tat will look fine , maybe a little faded, but I,ve put on 4 inches to my arms since my first tat and it looks like it did when I got it 30 years ago. J.R. -

I actually have some tatts inline with one another down my tri, and they have always looked fine. I'm real particular about that too. My tat guy had to reposition the ink like 4 times until he finally got it where I wanted it. He wouldn't listen to me. He thought the tat needed to be vertical from the ground when I stood. I had to explain to him not to worry about the ground and vertical, just make it run down the back of my arm straight from point -a to point -b. He agreed after he finished the tat, finally. I've fluctuated 10-15lbs since that tat. It's still right where it should be.
I'm ready for another one myself.1 up

That's exactly what I am getting. One that runs vertical down my tri...I am the same way. It needs to run down the tri, not necessarily vertical to the floor. That should be obvious you would think. I want one there and one down the side of my rib cage. I have to conceal mine because of work, so those two places and my back are my only options.Originally posted by horsepwr View Post

I imagine!! But it will be alright. That is why I was going to start with my tri. I don't really want anything on my back and I need to keep them out of sight at work so those are my two options really. The rib cage one will be a little while.
