benefits....
gets rid of all the ads on bottom.
can sign on w/multiple sn's all at once.
AIM boxes can fade so that u can still read ur messageboards.
if you were speaking w/multiple people...only one box appears on the tool bar & u can use the diff tabs to see the diff boxes.
