who takes aderall

what does it do at 20mg a day. I'm very sceptical of taking this. ive never before. My doc thinks i'm to hyper active I cant relax.but ive heard this isnt a good drug to take.whats your thoughts on this shit

Unless your hyperactivity causes an inability to concentrate/focus, I don't see why he would suggest the drug? It's basically an amphetamine. I would love to have it on hand pre workout. It has a short half life (unless it's the XR version) so you'll be able to sleep if you only take it in the morning. Did the doc write you a script already? Was it for 20 mg once a day or two times a day?

it is the devil. i mean its widely abused in college. its like cocaine light when you dont need it. it suppresses appetite and ****s with your sleep schedule. its widely prescribed to younger children who have add or haad.

dude...i'd give it a try. if you dont need it, you'll be MORE hyper. if you need it...it may just be good. i cant see it doing any kind of damage from trying.

dude...not trying to flame, but if you dont know the answer to that question, do you feel your in the best position to offer advice?

if you need it, it DOSNT make you more hyper. if you DONT need it, it will...and then you know. i'd give it a week and find out

It makes you focus. I know it doesn't make some people hyper that don't need it. It still just makes them focus better. A friend of mine was prescribed that in college, and his grades improved. He said it just made him focus much better, and he could get alot more done. Off subject; he was a badass baseball player. SEC player of the week 3wks in a row one year.

Even though amphetamines are stimulants, they don't make people hyper. They just seem to make them want to concentrate on, and do shyt...focus man. Amphetamines, while jacking you up, usually pipe you down for some reason.

...but if you're like me, you don't want anything to mess with your appetite. and that they might do. Some folks still eat like a horse on that shyt though. I would drop 12lbs in a week.

Correct. Some people appear hyperactive due to an inability to concentrate and/or racing thoughts. Sometimes this drug can be very effective.
