    Hey, FG people 30 years old or better....

    Those of us old enough to remember, are we fortunate to grow up in the
    1980's, or what?? I would take "The Breakfast Club" over "Lord of the Rings any day. I would take "Better off Dead" over "Not another teen movie". I would beg anyone in the 18 to 29 range to go out an rent any one of these movies, and see what we had the good fortune of growing up with:
    Pretty in Pink
    The Breakfast Club
    Fast Times at Ridgemont High
    Weird Science
    Better off Dead
    One Crazy Summer
    Summer Rental
    Easy Money
    Back to School
    Ferris Buhlers Day off
    Strange Brew
    Stripes
    The Great Outdoors

    And I'm sure there's many more that our brethern and sistern(?) will fill us in on

    Those were some great movies. I always liked "Weekend at Bernies" too.

        What about the books?? Judy Blume.....Are You There God, Its Me Margaret......only the ladies will appreciate that one.
        And the music! I had the soundtrack to Pretty in Pink and played that tape - yes tape - over and over again!

          Forgot - Sixteen Candles - I was so in love with Jake Ryan!! The last scene on the table with the birthday cake and he kisses her.....ohhhh....I swoon, I swoon!

                      YOU KNOW WHATS FUNNY ABOUT THOSE MOVIES IS IVE PROBABLY SEEN THOSE MOVIES 3 TIMES EACH. I LOVE THE BREAKFAST CLUB. THAT WAS FILMED 5 MINUTES FROM WHERE I LIVED AS A KID. RIGHT BEHIND THAT SCHOOL IS TRAIN TRACKS WE USED TO PARTY UNDER THE BRIDGE IN JR HIGH SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL. IT USED TO BE A HIGH SCHOOL BACK THEN . NOT ANY MORE. THESE 3 ARE MY FAVORITES
