I have an epson RX500 copier/scanner/fax and it has these individual color cartriges. If one is out, it disables the whole unit? I rarely use color to print. My old HP unit didn't have this problem? Any advice?

it needs all the cartridges in it is part of it check when the printers boots up or when it warms up, in printing properties you should be able to set your printing to print in only Grey scale (black and white)“Don't worry about life, you're not going to survive it anyway.”

My Brother printer,copier,fax has a similar problem. It will do everything but fax if a color is even almost empty. And what's even worse is it uses all the colors when only printing in black somehow. It's low on Cyan now, so it won't fax, but it will still print fine. Seems like a stupid way to function.1 up
