If you are having trouble staying logged in when navigating between forums/topics/etc., you need to reset your session cookie. Go into your browser and delete any cookie for the site them log back in. This should fix the login issue.

Im not shocked at all. I live in NC and we are getting at least two Obama ads to every one from McCain. Plus you have the triangle area (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) which tend to lean left. Last few governors have been dems. and it looks like kay Hagan is going to take Elizabeth Dole's senate seat with heavy backing from dem. national comm. They ran a very effective ad stating Dole was ranked the 93rd most effective senator. That swayed many people.

In North Carolina, McCain is up by a point for the second week in a row and now leads 50% to 49%. This race has remained very close all year. In five surveys during the past month, each candidate has held a statistically insignificant lead twice and each man has reached the 50% mark once.
