For those of you who have keep up with our security problems, we've had our fence on our property cut four times this year and over $10,000 worth of equipment stole from us. We just couldn't afford the security cameras, beams, and alarm system right now, so we opted for K-9 Security (130 lbs).
I don't know the sf of the property. The building came with a extra lot that makes for a nice size parking that will accommodated both his full-size trailers. When we get the money, he's adding on a workshop for his misc equipment.
We did put up beware of dog signs. Since we borrowed our superintendent's doberman, we haven't seen any signs of anyone trying to cut the fence. We have a 8ft fence with razor-wire across the top, and that didn't stop the punks.
Klash, I've been wanting to ask the accountant about deductions. It seems like it should be deductible. We had no intentions on getting another dog until the break-ins. This is to protect his business as well as our home. We have four police reports to back it up, so I was going to try to deduct it. Does anyone know for sure?
