not to discredit this poll..cuz i know ill catch flak...but the ap also did say they are concerned with these polls because its a new system theyre using and theyre not sure of the accuracy..i heard this on faux news..not one of my liberal stations...

latest Gallup poll says.....

John McCain surged closer to Barack Obama in Wednesday's Gallup Poll, 51-42 percent. It was McCain's first gain in a week, a bit of positive polling news for his campaign.

McCain had more good news:

He cut into Obama's lead among likely voters in the Gallup survey, at 50-45 percent. That was also a 2 percentage point improvement from Tuesday's Gallup Poll.

With less than two weeks to go McCain has to hope he can inch closer in the polls, which would undercut the notion that Obama's victory is somehow preordained.

Did you really think we did not know about the Gallup poll, or all the others? This is old news, already saw it when it was updated at 12:00pm. A poll of 1000 people and more democrats cannot predict a true outcome, imo.

ummm... polls by nature are not always accurate i find it so funny thou that if a poll points in favor of McCain it is the most accurate thing in the world... but if one points in favor or Obama it has to be BS...

who said that not me not anyone in this forum.2000-2004 reflect the accuracy of polls and they were both dead wrong and had kerry leadibng by 10 points the day of election nov 4 2004. hmm real good accuracy there and that was the gallup poll

Look, in my opinion its amazing that its this close. Obama has lied and is continuing to lie about his relationships (which speak to judgement issues) and shady business dealings with these individuals. He wrote an excert for the book of a known terrorist but says that they were only neighbors.

Now the liberal media has completely given him a pass on this! If McCain did the same thing he would be absolutely blasted. I beg anyone to disagree that the coverage has been extremely lopsided! So for the polls to be this close with most of the media already choosing our president for us is amazing!
