    Colin Powell Warns Of Coming Crisis

    Well, what is important today may pale in comparison with what could happen in an instant. I dont know if this is cool that these guys are predicting a major "crisis" or not. I mean, what good does that do? If it happens, it happens. The situation in Iraq/Afghanistan is a shaky situation that could blow wide open into a major crisis. No doubt. All Obams talk about being out in 16 months could go out the window.~~~~~~~~~~~What do you all think they are talking about???~~~~~

    Colin Powell has made bizarre comments that echo the recent declaration by Democratic VP candidate Joe Biden that there will be an "international crisis" early into Barack Obama's presidency that will test the new president by forcing him to make unpopular decisions.

    he's warning about a economic crisis all of a sudden when he backs obama.Economics 101 when we the people are struggling you never raise taxes you never take from the rich to give to 40% of americans thats welfare. you never spend 1 trillion in new spending.

      IMO, the government has intelligence that anti-American entities are going to test the fortitude of a young, appeasing, Democrat presidency of Obama that has campaigned on a anti-war platform.

      Any would be attacker knows if he answers any threat with expanding war - they know he risks appearing as if to be spitting in the face of his base. 'It will not be apparent that we are right.' 'We may have to do the unpopular thing'- [paraphrasing Biden]

              I guess anything could happen. Funny how so much of the nations attention is diverted right now while afghanistan is reaching the boiling point and iraq is teetering on a very thin edge. Those don't seem to be popular topics right now for either party.
