People don't always make the best choices for thier familes due to being lazy, don't really care or they'd rather not spend the $10 on a safety item. If everyone would think rationally, then the goverment would'nt need to step in as much so thank the idiots.

Gee, the government has already stepped in to often, this is why we have the nanny state we do where parents don't have to be responsible for their children. Look how many irresponsible mothers and fathers we have already because of the nanny state.

It is thinking like yours that makes it hard to be a parent now days. Hmmm, would you turn me in if you seen me spanking my child, would you turn me because I homeschool and my kids are seen outdoors playing during school hours. Or perhaps you would you would like to force me to fully vaccinate my selectively vaxed children.

There are some people that are allergic to the vaccine and can't have it. You are probably one of the, but I don't think it is common.

that could be it, but j's also allergic too then. also...shouldnt they findout if your allergic to something before they inject it into your body. i'm not saying your wrong, but that'a not right either.

bigdawg- my kids were immunized. i was, EVERYONE i know was. but...if i KNEW i had the right to refuse...i might have. i dont think i'm retarted (dont ask anyone around here thou) and i dont think there's a big conspericy with the government wanting you to get immunized. i think they are trying to do what they think is best....but that dont mean you make them.

jo mamma- i didnt wear a helmet on a bike. know one i knew growing up did. i dont make my kids were one and i wouldnt expect you to play helmet police if you were my nieghbor.

i dont understand how we've become a nation of poocee's!!! half the shyt me and my friends did as kids is illegal for my kids to do today. "wear a helmet" "no riding 4whlers" "no shooting bb guns"...give me a fukin break!! who the hell was the first asshole to decide my kid HAS to wear a helmet!! how many of us wore them as kids? how many kids that you grew up with are sitting in a bed slobbering spit down their face becouse of some tragic bike incident? what the fuk is wrong with kids (12 and up) being home alone. as long as you set rules, i dont see the prob. i was home after school alone since i was 11!! i fed horse's, burned trash, vacuumed the living room, washed clothes, did dishes, split wood, cleaned up....I WAS READY FOR LIFE!!!!

Hahaha, great post dave1 I would imagine that had we seen someone riding a bike with a helmet on we would have laughed at him and called him a big fat poocie...LOL...Ya, anymore we have to have a law for every stupid fukin thing on earth...I remmember playing football in high school and the coach told us to tackle with our helmet...Nowwadays that gets you kicked out for a month and might get you thrown in jail...lol

great posts klash.. having the government demanding that we take their injection or face imprisonment smacks of totalitarianism or worse...today vaccines, what will they force on us next? People need to wake up and take a stand against this kind of intrusion into our lives.

How many personal freedoms will be justified away for the sake of protecting us from ourselves??? How about surrendering our right to privacy so we can be protected from islamist extremists?

Eventually we will have sobriety type checkpoints where they will pull you out of your car and give you an injection..."Sir, step out of you car and pull your pants down and bend over!!!"

the government should force parents with short kids to give their kids GH injections. Why not?? Its for the good of the child!!!If a parent refuses, the parents shall be prosecuted for child abuse. Think about it! Being short is soooo unfair!

i don't understand how the media crying about the evils and deadly consequences of steroids are justifiably laughed at by those in our community but let the media sound the "save the children" alarm and they are suddenly beacons of truth and knowledge. my kids been immunized since birth and wants a flu shot as well and he is healthy as a horse. hmmmm maybe they've been giving him the placebo all these years and that's why he is safe and healthy.
