What's wrong with people?

Why is everyone bashing "Joe the plumber?" This guy could have been any of us who just want to ask a presidential candid some of the questions that we have on our minds right now. Now everyone is bashing him... he asked a very legitimate question...

Now the media is digging up his background trying to discredit him. Discredit him for what? The guy just asked a simple question. Why go in to all that. What's the point?

I'm hearing people say they are sick of hearing about "Joe the Plumber". Others saying that he should stop being so selfish and open his heart to helping others.

Its called distraction. We Americans have a terrible case of ADD when it comes to the real issues - too depressing I think - so we look for easy distractions - Joe is the latest victim - I mean look at how many people give a shyt about stupid Britney Spears!

That must be it... he pretty much got Obama to admit that he's is for distribution of wealth and now they need to distract people for the truth.... ok, that makes perfectly good sense.

i dont have a clue!!! i think it's bullshyt. let's see...no plumbers licence, but works for a plumber WITH a licence, just not licenced in the county he LIVES in. (ohio licence per county!!). he has a tax bill. he has medical charge off's and he has a desire to purchase the company he's working for in the next 5 yrs....I DONT SEE THE FUKIN PROB HERE!!! sounds to me he's as american as me!! i got outstanding tax bill, i got med charge off's (that i settled on) i dont have a cdl class "a" licence, but i train people to drive a truck, and i have drove them without a licence in the past....does that mean i cant ask a question to a politician if i have a chance?...assholes!

i know, right?...the whole thing pisses me off that it's become some big deal...you should of heard them on the news this morning...they teased the story like they was gonna drop a bombshell about him being a alquida supporter or something. then, when it came on, 30mins later, me and the wife were like, "wtf is this!!"....what a joke. i'm going back to watching cartoon!!!

He is the kind of guy that gives me hope. The Obama tax plan will cut his taxes yet Joe opposes it on a philosophical bases.

Most news media operates under a liberal premise - find someone to blame, when there is no one to blame the next automatic question is where did government fail. I don't think this is conspiratorial - I just think it is the nature of the news in an attempt to find drama and when there is no one to blame, they create it and no better way to do that than placing responsibility on the government for everything so they have something to blame for "injustice". I think most people that go to work as a journalist report on so much suffering that they stop looking at situations with a critical mind and just fall into this liberal premise - so when someone like Joe the Plumber comes around they have an emotional stake in the issue. Joe the Plumber represent a fundamental conflict towards their premise - he stands for personal responsibility and because personal responsibility is the most logical position to have; the news media can't undermine his philosophical position, so they try to make him look uncaring, fake or an imbecile. And ironically enough, that is probably the best adjectives to describe anyone proud of their progressive beliefs.

Joe never said how he was voting. He hasn't said if he opposed it or not... he just questioned it. Like a lot of us... we question wither or not Obama's tax plan with help or hurt us.

I think there are a lot of American's out there who are unsure who to believe.
