^Nope voting for the same old $hit and expecting something different is a wasted vote.
This election is a prime example. Our country has moved so far left our two major parties are offering us a Marxist (Obama) or a Liberal (McCain).
i agree with stray....if people will stop voting for the least evil and vote for who they actually back...we maaaay just end up with a great leader again....maybe.

A vote for a 3rd party candidate is the way to go.If enough people do it, they will have to stand up and notice. Wouldnt it be great if a 3rd party took like 30% of the vote? As of now, Im NOT voting for either of those 2 dorks.
The reality is at this time we have a 2- party system. If you do not vote - you have no right to complain because you did nothing to change the outcome. A vote for a third party is a wasted vote plain and simple. We have two runners to truthfully vote for like it or not. Please take the time to vote for the one you feel will truely do the better job for our great country- there is much more at stake than most wish to believe- don't waste something as valueable as your voice to be heard.
The problem is if you vote for a 3rd party you could be handing the election over to Obama. Change your party from within before fleeing the ship. I myself believe that the Republican party has really become less and less conservative over the years but I am not willing to vote for a 3rd party candidate and have President Obama for the next 4 years.
"Government is not a solution to our problem, government is the problem"
~Ronald Reagan
It seems there is no right or wrong here. Just who you are going to agree most with.
I believe that least 80 percent of us here are libertarians and on the rest of the issues we differ. We then cling to the party in which we most agreee. This is normal and sound thinking. What is not, is to embrace the 20% and turn on the 80% of your beliefs. Why?
For example it might be the drug issue? It might be foreign wars? It might be healthcare? All in all, there is one guy that's promised the moon and the stars with no tax increases (I have a bridge to sell you) and the other who is not a Ronald Reagan but is an honest man that endured more suffering that we will ever have to in our lifetime. I'm in his camp. Call me silly but it makes sense to me.
A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have. -Thomas Jefferson

by voting for who you support you are letting your voice be heard....if its third party youre heard loud and clear....i just wish more people would..the sad thing is that most people dont even know that they have other choices....and that needs to change...
