damn dixie it sounds liek things are really hiiting you hard i hope you guys have some luck selling your houses as im sure thats really were most the stress is coming form i mean hell it's hard enought o make 1 house payment i couldn't imagine 3

Thanks... the good news is that my hubby landed three new contracts a couple of weeks ago. This will keep his business going for several months. If we keep the belt tight and my job doesn't get cut, we might even make it through the winter. So... I don't plan on doing any extra spending until a house sells.

We would have been fine if our houses had sold. They have been on the market now for 1yr and 10 months. I've dropped the price on my from $135K to $125K already. His was appraised at $265K and he's asking $199K. It sits on top of the ridge and looks over the valley with mountains in the background... awesome view! 3,000 sf!

i traveled to brussels, amsterdam, munich and venice and spent about 5 grand...
and still got 2 paychecks while doing it...lol
sooooo..i havent really begun to cut back..though my situation wont be as bad as most of the general public..not to say i wont have problems..but not as many as some may have...

I just talked to my real estate agent and still nothing selling but foreclosures. Her contract ends in Nov. I don't know what to do. Might try to rent mine.

Haven't cut back . I have always been very conservative with my money. I will make sure I can pay for it in cash before putting it on credit cards.

I have cut back on buying bottle water. I think it is the biggest waste of money. I drink a gallon of water a day and the water from the faucet is just fine. This will save us at least $50 a month from just not buying water at the gym.

We spend at least $8 to $10 at the gym a day for water, protein bars, and child sitting, and that is almost daily. That is just crazy!! This week it has been only about $3 to $5. I'd would like to get it to onl $1 a day for the child sitting.

i really havent cut back but i need to on everything
