  • *Very* alarming thing just happened in the gym.

There is this older guy (prolly about 40-50) that works out in my gym. This guy is a really sweet guy who seems to chat with everyone. Just kinda the sweet old man type, ya know. So he's been asking if I wanted to go out sometime or something - me and my wife. I say sure (thinking it would never materialize) and give him my phone number. Well them I'm doing tricep press downs when he comes over and shakes his head. He then says, "You're amazing" - I nervously chuckle and ask him what he means. Then he says, "You're body, you have a amazing body". Now I'm freaking out and I don't even reply. So I continue my workout and try to avoid him the rest of the time. But then on the way out he shouts something about how he'll call me or something. What do you guys think? Am I just being a conceded jerk in thinking that this old man wants to fuck me? I mean if he would have just said, "damn bro, you have great tri delvelopment", or , lookin swole, man" - I wouldn't give it a second thought. But now I'm freakin out and I'm gonna be screaning all of my calls.
The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

It's not funny. I have a feeling that I just invited a stalker to start calling me.

Well, if you really are "swole", just kick em' and he'll leave you alone. Could just be a really nice compliment. If he starts asking to feel your muscles, then I'd worry

I'm not gonna beat down some sweet old man in the gym. LOL That would just be wrong - I'm not that hardcore. Besides, I'm not a homo-phobe. I just don't like putting myself in awkward situations. I don't want this guy to proposition me (come to think of it, *or* my wife) and I have to tell him that I, or we, are not into that sort of thing.

I'd make sure to mention your wife somewhere in the next conversation. If he then brings something up later you got an easy saying either you like women or you and your wife aren't interested. IT's probably just harmless. I bet later he was like f*ck I can't believe I said that ... then again maybe he was trying to give you a complex
