thanks man... i am starting to notice i stand out agains most. i was president of my fire academy and graduated #1 in both the academy and EMT school. I am also a captain at my Vol. Dept. WMD First response training through the military. i have a bunch of good recomendation letters..... hopefully it will all be enough to get me in the door.

i have a written test in NC tomorrow. the process is long so it might be a good 6 months or so up there. but i have other resumes floating around.

my bet says u make ten calls you'll get 4 appointments we want too talk to you know

those creds u got don't grow on tree's, they are as rare as diamons

u just gotta talk to enough captains, till u find the one that see's what i see and has an open position, and he has the power to get what he wants, which is u, versus a bunch of other bs, ie, wannabee's, who just want government security

Get a hold of Water Boy here on the site- he lives in that area and knows quite a few folks. I'm sure he knows someone!
