Friendly Fire

I saw this thing on CBS (one of the 4 channels I get) last night about friendly fire

They were saying; in 91Gulf War 3/4 of all vehicles destroyed were destroyed by friendly fire.

Then they showed a clip of this apache helicopter pilot (he had two vehicles in his sight's) he blew them up, then he said "I hope those weren'f friendlies".. as two marines are limping off... it was confirmed that it was friendlies and the pilot says "yeah, that's what I was afraid of"

WTF, did anyone else see this shit.....These vehicles were just driving down the road, they weren't involved in battle or anything.

Man if all the pilots had this guys attitude, I can see why 3/4 of our vehicles were destroyed by friendly fire.

Man it just pissed me off...

This crap happens all the time. They review everything and if they think the guy that pulled the trigger or the guy that gave the order didn't do their dodilegince (sp?) they get strung up!

I saw a piece of footage on Desert Storm and theres a road from Kuwait that leads to Bagdad. All I saw was bunch of Iraqi tanks, cars, dead soldiers, shit like that, it fucking looked scary seriously. I was like whaooooooo shit, the US did all of that bombing.

yea juice we did that . my dad was right in the fucking middle of it. he took alot of pics after it happened they are awful.. i asked him why in the hell did u take those pics and he said to remind and show people what really goes on.. they had people and parts of people every where bro. sick shit!

IT LOOKED NASTY MAN. Once of my late-cousins fought in Desert Storm too. He was also in the middle of all this. I dont know what happend to him, I guess it all affected him or something because like a couple of years after that he commited suicide.

damn bro thats sad.. when my dad first got back man this aint funny but we were eating at the kitchen table and a car came by and stopped at the stop sign and it backfired bro he hit the damn floor in a sec .it was funny i guess....he thought so..now his ass is going back? wtf!!!

My buddys dad has gone through the same shit man. I know what you mean, well his dad went to Vietnam. When he recently married, he told me that his mom told him that his dad at night would hear little noises and get all paranoid. If he heard tapping sounds and stuff like that he would hit the floor. I could just picture that. The reason that happens is because of all the shit that happens there, your always watching your back. Also cause your trained to respond to things like that. A teacher of mine who I think served also told us that. Its an Alert system the body has inside or something.

Man I can half way understand friendly fire on the ground during battle but when your sittin in an apache and no one knows your there and your not being shot at?

yea bro ... my dad only like lil less than two yrs to retire . he is one of the oldest in his unit so he is a nervous wreck watching out for the newbies..ha ha newbies are everywhere.

Thats the pic brother. Shit that looks scary. Those Iraqi soldiers could be a little smarter if they just understand thatfucking Sadam is trying to do. I wouldnt trust that guy for shit. No body deserves to die.
