      a buddy of mine gets a new vette every 2 years. what he does is remove all the stock computer crack and uploads a high performance profile. from what he tells me, it makes a huge difference on performance. So for two years he brings it to the track and beats the crap out of it. When he's ready to sell, he taked the performance stuff off and replaces it with the stock.
