russia just learned a huge lesson in the last two months, they invaded georgia, they just screwed up there economy worse than we screwed up ours, only difference they did it two weeks we did it in 30 years

how else do you propose we pay for the past 8 years of record spending. taken a look at the federal deficit lately? what about our nation's debt?

stop kidding yourself, this bill was always going to come due and WE are the ones who will pay for it.

this new version of the republican party (i am a registered republican btw) got to run the ship for 8 years, and the people who comprise the elite of the party got richer because of it. unfortunately, it was done at the economy's expense, which has now become the taxpayer's expense.

just another step towards a two-class society IMO.

the blowback from the administration's policies is the chance for the democrats to step in, as always a sagging economy improves the democrat's chances of winning the election. this and an intelligent, charasmatic figure put the dems as if it is their election to lose.

are there problems with the democratic party? are they corrupt and just another flavor of the elite? OF COURSE. i am willing to accept certain degrees of corruption as long as it is tempered with equal or better COMPETENCE.

THAT is the first problem with the bush administration. their corruptness is not matched by their competence. i think if you look up incompetent there is a picture of george bush. the second problem is the notion of assuredness and certainty they seem to have in themselves despite this blatantly obvious lack of competence.

i get the same impression from the mccain/palin ticket. the LAST word would use to describe these two is competent. he f'ed up royally when he chose palin. THAT sealed the deal for me.

yes, obama and biden are corrupt, power elite politicians. i strongly disagree with many of the fundamental beliefs of the democratic party. but, when i look at this ticket and accept the realities of this contest, i think our country needs the most COMPETENT team to get us back on track, and that is why i am voting obama/biden.

what did he do

a. developed causcus strategy to give him a chance
b. campaigned like hell in iowa

d. most important, the boots on the ground have been signing up voters in historical proportions, now part of that is sentiment against repubs, yet, u don't get a vote unless u ask for it a dozen times
