she seemed nervous. I thought mccain has done better in one on one interviews. I give her a c. Very boring. The media is going to eat her alive. It's going to get ugly and she is going to have to stay cool under pressure and not lose her temper.

it was a super bowl type interview, and considering she'd never been too the circus at that level, imho, she did good

she can think very very well on her feet in no mans land

i really think the interview was rather tame, and no real tough questions

the test is when u got a 100 folks throwing out every question in da world

my only problem she continues to flat out lie about bridge to nowhere BS, and imho that is dumb, based on limited knowledge out there of her record, she has been a reformer, yet, she is exagerating to the max, why not be real, u don't lose a hundred pounds in a month, it takes time and patience and doing the right things, so imho she is doing the reform thing in a measured pace, which is good, so why misrepresent and continue too tell falsehoods, that really really bothers me, if you lie boldly to folks faces, you'll lie anywhere anytime about anything, thats how i've seen people operate for decades, no matter high up the ladder or low

if you are a big palin suporter, she can do no wrong. Thats the nature of politics. If you are an oboma lover, he can do no wrong. Like many millions of Americans, I am Independent. Im neutral so far. When I watch any of them, I am unbiased. If Obama wins, he will do ok. If mccain wins, he will do ok. hoepfully.

lol, i call em as i see em

i'd even go as far as too say, from initial impressions, she might have the most street smarts of all 4 in dah race

my take is she has the smarts to understand most any problem

we just don't know how she will handle major crisis

like i've said, takes 3-6-9 months to get too know someone

what's fairly sure is she will most likely be a beacon in republican party going forward no matter what the election outcome

Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will meet with foreign leaders next week at the United Nations, a move to boost her foreign-policy credentials, a Republican strategist said.

Republican candidate John McCain plans to introduce the Alaska governor to heads of state at the opening of the U.N. General Assembly, although specific names weren’t yet firmed up. “The meetings will give her some exposure and experience with foreign leaders,” the strategist said. “It’s a great idea.”

McCain and Palin are expected to visit the U.N. on Tuesday, when President George W. Bush will address the international body.

Since her nomination, Palin has energized the Republican base, drawn huge crowds and propelled fund-raising. However, Democrats have attacked her as weak on foreign policy experience. Even on last week’s “Saturday Night Live,” actress Tina Fey spoofed Palin’s assertion that she is familiar with issues involving Russia, noting that Alaska is nearby. “I can see Russia from my house!” Fey-as-Palin said.

But McCain advisers hope her U.N. visit will show how quickly Palin can make key connections and become well-versed in foreign-policy issues.

the good thing about her is that she has the intelligence to figure things out. I would suspect she'll be president in a year or so , so she had better be ready to stap it on.
