I wouldnt bash people with past addictions may not look good who were past drug addicts. . she had a operation and took them for the pain and took more then her doctor prescribed do to where she was in alot of pain. so if she's a drug addict then everyone who has taken more of the prescribed dose must be a drug addict right.

no...and first off let me point out...because you know as well as i do because ive given you a hint of my past...i was heavily into drugs...so those are shoes that i have walked in...and there are still certain drugs that if they were laid out in front of me..i wouldnt be able to resist without actually having to leave the premises..things i do or say arent done or said to appease anybody...if i were to say something about somebody who shoes ive never walked in..then maybe its territory that i should shy away from..but because ive been there...i dont feel the need...
im glad she got over her addiction..ive seen what it does to many people..ive lost alot of friends..one recently..and family members due to drug use...
and fuzo..your argument that everyone who takes more than they a precribed must be an addict as well....no..that makes them drug abusers..not addicts...she used for 3 years...
now of course im not one to call the kettle black...if you saw at the end of the very first sentence in the post..there is a little..lol...i was making light of it...

i wasnt accusing..its harmless...
and no offense bro..and i mean that with all serious..no offense whatsoever...but i do have a right to call her that..i have a right to call anybody what i want..as do you or anybody else in this country..we have our freedom of speech...whether or not somebody agrees or even likes it is their own opinion..

many get addicted to pain meds...mostly because dr's use immoral judgement and prescribe them too loosely.....i doubt cindy used them for any kind of social/recreational purposes.

I see this scenario more often than overprescribing: MDs are under constant scrutiny by the DEA and they can get flagged for prescribing too many opiates or other controlled drugs. Often people who are in pain are not prescribed needed pain meds because the docs dont want to get in trouble. So, if a person buys some pain meds on the street or from a friend because they cant get them from their doctor, that would not constitute abuse of pain meds in my book. Happens all the time.
