Question for Obama Supporters

As I sat these last few night and listen to the stories of John McCain and his wife Cindy and all the things they have done to serve their Country- McCain with his service and all the trips all over the world promoting the US -meeting with commanders in the field and always taking time to talk with the troops( real troops- not bosses) and then you have Cindy McCain and how she has done sooooo much humanitarian aid actually showing up in war zones and helping the needy. And then I listen to Michelle and Barrak Hussian(sp) Obama - what exacty have they done to better serve this country?????????????? Can someone please fill in the blanks for me.

nope...and i agree that humanitarian aid is not required either!!...just help get this country back on track...thats all one of these idiots gotta do...just think for US for once, and not the corporate machines!! i believe both reps and dems are owned

I don't admire someone that does something that is important to them and then pass it off like they are doing it for others as some type of selfless deed or they do something that appears to be altruistic just so they can say they did something for others, when their main motivation is to be seen as selfless. Either way the motivation is self-interest.

Not required nor is the humanitarian aid, but I sure prefer someone who doesn't just talk the talk, but rather walk the walk. As for Cindy McCain- she has soo much money- she doesn't have to do anything but rather does it because she truely cares. She was doing this long before it was publicized and never asked for it to be all over the TV. It just shows me something about a person when they do something for someone without want to be a showboat about it or rather its the popular thing. Maybe its just me- but that means something to me- I seen enough lip service thus far

yeah, McCain doesn't seem to care to talk about those topics when brought up. Once in the public eye, philanthropy isn't taken for what it is by some. and it isn't given for what it should be by some. I guess you'd just have to really know the person.
