If someone thinks Obama will win because of black votes then they don't know the demographics of the US. Blacks only make about 13% of the population. Maybe 8% are of voting age. Maybe 6% will show up and vote. I think it will boil down to policy. Yes there will be some preference due to race, but not enough to sway the election results.

so is Obama really a muslim? Does any one know for sure? I know a lot of people are getting some mileage out of his name barack hussein obama. His little slip "my muslim faith, I mean my Christian faith" during his interview with bob schaffer was not conclusive. Is this conjecture or is obama really a full fledged muslim? People would really like to know for certain. I think it is important that we know for CERTAIN. Seems like a lot of people are more or less guessing that he must be. I have heard him profess his faith in Jesus Christ. He flat out said "Jesus died for my sins."...is he faking this?

I am not for or against obama. Im not for or against mccain. I am just wondering why so many educated and intelligent people truly believe that Barak Obama is a muslim and he is lying to the American people. Educated, intelligent people are saying that barak obama will take the oath of office with his hand on the koran. They honestly believe this. Where is the proof that he is a muslim or not? There are a lot of people that want to know the answer.

Well, I have here a printout from a web site called the International Humanist and Ethical Union. And here is how the second paragraph of an article on that website begins.
