I really believe that women in these positions are very strong women. No matter what anyone says, it is still harder for a woman in this day to get that high up in politics. They have to be quite strong to endure what they do to get there. Any woman who has 5 children, one being a newborn with downs syndrome, and who also holds a very important career, has to be a woman of great strength. A strong woman can put up a good fight to for anyone. I think Mccain mad e a wise choice, imo!

Like anyone can tell Hillary what to do. I saw them roll out 4 of the exact same pantsuit in 4 different colors to see which one went best with the blue background. She is so out of touch with today's style and with today's woman. I would have loved to see her in a dark blue dress from the Gap.

What do you mean? You were willing to take a chance on Obie because of his speech skills.
Ridge would have probably been a better decision at igniting the base but then Hillary supporters would have stayed with Obama. I think he made a better strategic decision simply because most conservatives recognize the danger in electing Obama and have nowhere to go but McCain - going with Palin he takes votes away from Obama.
I won't be voting for McCain or Obama; I just like seeing smart strategy and McCain has made some great moves the last couple days, including drowning out news on Obama's huge DNC speech by naming a woman his vp the day after it.
Not only that but McCain has just created a formidable opponent against any female Democrat that decides to run for president in the future.
