i got woke up in the middle of the night by my wife who fell in because she FAILED TO CHECK THE SEAT! i seem to always remember to put it up to pee, i swear its not that hard

you would have thought i was drowning little kittens or something from the drama she started.

It is called commom courtesy. You dont leave the cabinet doors open in the kitchen, do you? Besides, women dont like to touch the toilet seat. Gives us the ooogies. And putting the seat down shows respect. JUST DO IT!!

also, with your "cabinet door" theory, if she did give me braindamage about the toilet seat, i would think, that i'd have to be just as polite as to leave all the cabinet doors open for her as well...if anything, i'm polite!

I always put the toilet seat down when I'm done using it. That way, it hides to poo splash marks at the bottom of the seat. And my wife can't yell at me for that.

i put it down 99% of the time. i am useing hydrocodone right now because of the broken nose situation to cut the pain and forgot in a messed up stupor. Our Son dosnt always do it.

i think what pissed me off was the fact that she made such a huge deal out of it like she was intitled to have the seat down and if left up it was a capital offense.

she didnt check. its ultimately her responsibility to check if she dosnt she deserves the wet ass.
