Hey Dave, I don't know where you're at in Detroit, but there's a dude that runs a business called the "Troy Black Belt Academy" and he picks the kids up from school, then they get their Karate class in, then you pick the kid up when you're readyComment

I think that's awesome. My mom wanted to sign the twins (my niece and nephew) up for classes. My SIL wouldn't let them take classes. My brother said it was because they would beat up on each other... some other lame excuses. Now they are 10 years old and the kids are picking on them. My nephew had a kid grab him by the back of the neck in some kind of hold (I have no idea what they call it), but it will cause you to black out. They suspended the kid for awhile, but he's back in school now. They still don't seem interested in teaching them how to defend themselves.Comment
