Worlds Best Selling" Motorcycle Fuel Injection Module
    Works with any exhaust
+/- 100% fuel adjustability over stock
    Expandable with:
    -Ignition Module
    -Quick Shifter
    -Color LCD display
    -Multi-Function Hub
Easy installation (no cutting or splicing)

    What is Power Commander?
The Dynojet Power Commander plugs inline with your bike’s stock fuel injection system. It uses OEM (original equipment manufacturer) style connectors making installation easy and quick. The PCIIIusb allows a full range of fuel adjustment, as much as +/- 100% over stock. Adjustments can be made either with a Windows based computer or by using the face plate mounted button adjusters. No permanent changes are made to the bike’s system. Once the unit is removed the bike reverts to its stock settings.
    Map Database
Dynojet supports the Power Commander product line with the worlds largest map database. We work with all of the leading exhaust manufacturers from around the globe to bring you pre-tested settings for your motorcycle. No guesswork on your part. Every map that we offer was tested and developed on one of our multiple in house Dynojet Dynamometers using our patented Tuning Link software. New maps are developed weekly for all popular applications.
    Tuning Centers
For custom or specialty applications where it is not possible for us to have a map available, there is a network of Official Dynojet Tuning Centers. These facilities have the required equipment and training to develop custom maps for your vehicle.
Click Here for a list of centers near you.

    Features:
Hassle free USB communication - The Power Commander USB will instantly and automatically connect to the Power Commander Control Center software once it is installed. Simply "power up" the unit and connect the supplied USB cable to the computer and PCIII USB.

Onboard notes storage - The PCIII USB stores the notes from the map in the onboard memory. This makes it easy to see exactly which map is loaded. The notes, just as the map itself, are automatically retrieved upon connecting to the unit.

Individual cylinder adjustment - All PCIII USB units have a "cylinder trim" adjustment feature that allows you to "offset" fuel to one or more cylinders. Additionally, for advanced users, the PCIII USB allows individual cylinder mapping. Now each cylinder can be mapped individually throughout the entire rpm/throttle position range.

Enhanced "file compare" utility - The PCIII USB software allows you to compare two map files without the Power Commander connected. There is a numerical display as well as a brand new graphical display.

Easier to use "button adjustment" mode - The button adjustment has been made easier by introducing a "startup delay". This lets the user have enough time to start the bike and then switch the PCIII USB into "button adjust" mode. The ranges of the buttons are now displayed in the software. Simply connect the unit to the computer and press one of the buttons. Their ranges are shown on the screen.

"Expansion port" for upgrades and accessories - The "expansion port" allows easy connection of accessories such as our new ignition module, Quick shifter, Multifunction Hub, Pressure Sensor display and LCD display unit. Automatic map retrieval upon connection - As soon as you connect the PCIII USB to the computer and launch the software, the map installed in the PCIII USB will be displayed.

9V "Power Up" adapter - Every PCIII USB comes with a "power up" adapter which allows users to program and interface with the Power Commander on their desktop without being connected to the bike. Accelerator Pump - You can adjust: A) The amount of fuel to add, B) The number of engine revolutions during which fuel is added, C) The sensitivity of throttle movement under which the accelerator pump is activated.

    New Features for Harley Davidson
Dynojet Research is pleased to announce two new features for the Harley Davidson Power Commanders.

The first new feature is "Rev X-tend". This will give you the ability to have an increased rev limit over stock without having to modify the bike's ECM. No longer will you need to take the bike to the dealer to have the ECM "re flashed" in order to have the higher rev limit your bike needs with modified cams, heads, etc.
The second new feature is "Start Fuel". This allows you to add additional fuel during startup. On heavily modified and/or large displacement engines (i.e. 124 Cubic Inch) extra fuel is sometimes required to ease starting. This is a software adjustable setting that makes it possible to increase the amount of fuel injected into the engine during cranking without making the idle overly rich once the engine starts.
How much additional power will it give my motorcycle?
There are many variables to each application. The Power Commander allows for tuning to the perfect air/fuel ratio will ensure that the engine can produce the maximum possible horsepower for that given combination.

Consider that a typical street rider spends a great deal of time riding in part throttle conditions. Shown below are two graphs of a motorcycle before and after installation of the Power Commander. The top graph line shows the horsepower curve accelerating and the lower graph shows the corresponding air/fuel ratio. You can see a large horsepower increase between the two. The red curve shows a typical stock motorcycle with minor performance modifications (slip-on exhaust).

The blue curve shows that same combination with the Power Commander installed and you can see that the line is nearly straight. Consequently, the rider will feel a large improvement while riding the motorcycle. It is very possible that the peak wide open throttle horsepower is unchanged. The correct air/fuel ratio number (say 12.9:1 or 13.2:1) depends upon many factors like combustion chamber design, but what we want is that figure at every point in the curve (straight line).

    Tuning with Power Commander
Base Map - The Power Commander is supplied with a given (base) map stored in the microprocessor. This (base map) is typically a map that has been developed to provide an improvement for most combinations matching the map description (i.e. stock bike or performance exhaust and air filter).

In general we have found that a typical stock bike has areas in the fuel curve that are far from optimal for drive-ability and performance. We could say that they are typically 70% optimized in stock condition and 60% - 65% with minor performance modifications. After installation of the Power Commander with the base map, we would expect to see 85% - 95% optimization. Power Commander Alternate Maps - Each Power Commander is supplied with a number of alternate maps on a CD-ROM and all the maps are available for download on our web site.

You may notice that we have a map specifically for "Brand A" slip-on exhaust and another for "Brand B" slip-on exhaust. Although the difference between the two maps is likely to be very small, these difference will increase the optimization for that given combination. If you have a "Brand C" exhaust and we do not have a specific map, you should find that "Brand A" or Brand B" maps will provide a good improvement on your bike.

If you have a Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP computer, you can upload alternate maps or make changes to the existing map using the Control Center software and USB cable supplied with your PC. (Detailed Software tutorials and quick reference software screen shots are available on the CD-ROM or web site).

If you do not have a computer, you can change the fuel curve with the faceplate buttons. This is a simple adjustment that can move the fuel curve richer or leaner in each area of the map. (Please refer to the paper installation guide or adjustment video on the CD-ROM).

          Re: big trouble

and congrats on the power commander.

That just got me thinking. My friend just finished his season. He's selling the R6 and getting the new CBR 1000 for next season. He has a Bazazz. I don't know much about them, except that they're badass. I'm gonna call and ask if the Bazazz is exclusive per bike. If so, he should let me get the Bazazz. At least for a much discounted price. They'll hook him up with a new one for his CBR.

lol, I'm gonna have to. He called me when he was hooking it up just before the Daytona race, 1st of the season, and was telling me about how I should check it out. Well, I went to the website and watched how Yates and the Jordan Suzukis kickass with the Bazzaz, then I see my boy's 3rd article in Super Streebike magazine, and he mentions his addition of the Bazzaz in that months article. Each month they'd do an article on his mods getting ready for the season and list the price of whatever they're talking about. The little Bazzaz MSRP $999.99. yeah, I'll order one today. Must be nice to work for the company that publishes all the rider mags.
