    western union - funds returned to sender

    Ok, so i went overseas as i have in the past. Haven't gone this route in a while so i did this as a test with small dollars. I received an email from my friend that he could not pick up the funds. I contacted WU and they said the funds are to be returned to me. They offered no explanation and they said i need to come to any WU office and pick up the funds.

    I contacted my friend and he said this happens every so often and he will send new instructions.

    This happen to anyone?

    Do i need to be concerned considering nothing was exchanged?

    WOW I DONT THINK IVE HEARD OF THIS BEFORE!!! NOT SURE WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IN THAT CASE!!

      They probably have your friends addy red flagged

          YOU SHOPULD BE FINED. IF INDEED THIS IS THE CASE MAYBE THEY WILL QUESTIONED YOU BUT PROBABLY WONT HAPPEN. SO DONT WORRY AND SAY NOTHING. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK PERIOD . OR MEET MY LAYWER

            yea i agree. especially since they said i could pick the funds up at ANY WU location.

              this was always my old fall back plan, Im building a jdm spec honda and this person was suppose to have some parts thats what i was trying to purchase

                Also... it is not illegal to send money... But the motorcycle idea is a good story.

                Get your money back.. just don't use that WU office again...
