I have an old one I bought in 96 and still have. It's a great accurate scale to 1/2lb but the bodyfat gauge is a little off. It reads 3% higher than I am. The newer models are supposed to have a bodybuilder setting but mine doesn't have it.
Beside that I think it's a great investment. It'll also help as you add mass (weight) and are dieting because you will see the bodyfat go down as your weight stays the same.A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have. -Thomas Jefferson -

I just bought one yesterday that has an "Athletic" mode. I had to leave out of town, so haven't used it yet. I'll let ya know when I get the chance to use it.merc is my hero
