i tightened mine until they felt tight enough to not come lose i mean i think they are suppose to be 120ft/lb so estimate thatComment

no sir, that's aluminum. You could create weak spots in your frame by doing that. I've always just snugged them up as close to how the original engine mounts felt. which is not very tight, but I go a little tighter.Originally posted by FUZO View Post

But they do ultimately crack after so much. If they had their sliders or cages way over tightened, it would probably crack fast though.
Proper installation says to torque to spec and check them ever so often. Probably because spec isn't that tight. But like I said, I've just tightened them down pretty snug before, and they rode out the duration just fine.1 up

i went with motivation they are in my opinion the best on the market they are more expensive but the quality is so nice. worth the money in my opinioinComment
