  • the rove strategy

it's well known rove's boys are running john's training camp which menas rove is da brains

    speculation is observation

IT'S A BATTLE OF DA BRANDS

on one side u got mick a solid brand, nothing flashy, nothing inspirint, yet solid

    A. keep him out of the spot light and away from as many cameras as u can, the more mick talks the worse he looks, keep him as far away as u can, and give him canned answers of five words or less that he can handle

    B. 24-7 sophomoric smear campaign, pounce on everything and ratched it up to absurdity, the more absurd the better because media will talk talk talk about it, and guess who won't get lense time, mick himself, the adds will

    C. keep a and b going, cause when u do, obie himself get's less lense time, and the less he gets the worse he does cause he is building a brand, and when u have a weak new brand worse thing that can happen is be outta sight outta mind

    D. hope and pray oil stays high and that at the debates mick acts like a pit bull, and bullies obie and he comes across as weak, if u watched any of the debates, mick does not debate, he either makes a bad joke, gives a canned spam answer, or attacks like a pit bull, that is how he beat mitt, if ur interested go back to the debates at regan library mick was a total pit bull, he had one question and one attack and said it fifty times, mitt got frustrated and looked bad

the X factor, what we don't know is obie's strategic response to massive negative attacks, he couldnot do it against hil girl for fear of being branded a he man women hater

    things are getting interestin

    Re: the rove strategy

What is Obama building? He has problems lining his words up for random questions man.

I just see no greatness in your 'obie' bro. Not even too much brightness. I mean neither strike me as real brainers, but at least one is..."solid", as you put it.

      Re: the rove strategy

that's fine, like i've said a hundred times, i teach this stuff, obie is better by a factor of ten

problem he has is he is seen as weak at times, hesitating on answers that should be clear and concise, nuancing this and that

what's going on is he is thinkin on his feet, trying to give what he thinks are thoughtfull answers, which fwiw, is great in private conversations, small meetings etc. on a large stage big screen in looks indecisive, so the impression is left of indecisive weakness

so, in certain ways it is a false positive, which in brand building is a tough road to overcome in da short term

so, i understand how and why u see it, i'm just saying i see and take into account all sides,

It would be nice if he would stop holding back so much and just let the true him, the answers that come to mind naturally, speak. That confused, nuance and hesitation might stop...but so might some of his fame.

          ahhhhhhhhhh, yes, i agree

the mind is wired 7,000 different ways by last count, and growing

it is actually natural for him, with a question he has dozens of thoughts and he is trying to explain his point the best he can at the moment

what for some reason i can't explain other than lack of not working on the weakness, is that u got about 8 seconds to make ur main point on a large stage, after that folks minds wander, heck just think about ur self when reading posts, how many do we skim by in 3-5 seconds, cause we git the jist immediately either not important to us, dumb, dumber, etc.

it's a complex world and to take complex answers and crystalize them is super hard

fwiw, i always tell cleints groups, i will stop and stutter alot when answering questions, i tell them the reason why is i have a good grasp of what the answer is for that one person, yet, i'm trying to figure out on my feet how too phrase it so others do not get confused or i lose them because it raises more questions

the way to minimize questions is too pre-plan stuff better so ur lesson, teaching is understandable too all, now that is an art

Let's face it, Obama stumnbles on a one on one. I don't believe that he is trying to grasp how to answer so all understand! Heck, obviously many of his supporters don't understand him and that doesn't seem to matter to them they still support him anyway.

They are so focused on his word about "change". Who said that "change" always means good?

              it's fine u don't believe

i teach communication, there are five patterns of communication which if u made a comparison is really no different than lifting eating resting

as long as someone stays in a pattern it's pretty much a long life habit, they key is how someone communicates at very high extremes or low extremes

take hilary in maine, everyone says, oh that is he real hilary, i said yes it was, it showed to me she was co-dependent, it means u put others emotions before ur own,

i'm equal opportunity i just observe what i see and compare it too what i know

as an example he does not stumble in speeches, fwiw, i'd say for every written page of a speech it has been edited 20 times too crystalize what ones core beliefs are and thus it comes across in body language tone of voice words

a 40 minute speech takes me about 80 hours too craft and 5-6 off broadway takes too get close to being good
