I started swimming when I was 4yrs old. When my bother turned 4 and learned how to swim, my parents got us a swimming pool. We thought we were fish and pretty much lived in it. There were many of nights that my parents had to drag us out of the pool and make us go to bed. LOL -

Who can't swim? Swimming is almost as natural as walking.
^and sure, doggy paddling counts. I think that's probably the first way everybody gets through the water when they're babies/toddlers...and some adults
I saw some video on youtube, I think it was, where these babies, like not even a year old, knew how to kick themselves over onto there bellies, and swim/kick to the side of the pool. My daughter made me watch it 20times because of the babies, but it was a great thing. Anyone with or near a body of water should teach their children how to survive in water.1 up
