my Alpinestars summer jacket

So I ordered that Astars Sniper Air Flo that I've been eyeing for a couple months now. I ordered it through the bike shop last week, and the guy told me it would be in in 2-3 days. So when I went to see if it was in last Saturday, the 3rd day, the same fat bastard that ordered it for me, looked on the computer, turned and looked at me and said, "that jacket won't be available until September." I said, 'uh-uh...wrong...", so he went to go talk to someone over him. We, me and the wife, were in a hurry so I got the dude that I usually deal with to ring up what I was getting, and we had to haul ass. I haven't had time to call and follow up, but those diks better do something. I told him that I don't need it in Sept. I have jackets for that time of year. I need it for right now. And there are 2 websites that I know of that I could've just ordered it right quick with free 2 day shipping. Which is exactly what I should've done, or what they should've already done.

We'll see. I'm gonna have to make time to contact them today.

yea man for sure i need to actually call AFX today about my helmet cause that shit is falling apart and i take good care of it and it's only 3 months old good luck bro

that sucks. I got a new helmet last week too. It is sweet! I'm digging it very much. Hope you get yours worked out.

as far as my jacket, the bike shop got Alpinestars involved and they're going to have one of their other licensed distributers ship me one, so, I should have it in a few days...hopefully.

I feel better knowing that at least.

update; I spoke to my guy in parts at the bike shop and he said that his Alpinestars rep found me one at another dealer, and that it should be in in 2-3 days. That was Wednesday, so when I go by there today, it should be waiting for me. It'll probably be Monday though. He told me he'll call me when it gets there, and no call yet. I always put a little "padding" on a time-frame when I tell someone something, so if it doesn't happen by the expected time-line, they aren't bugging me. And when their parts come in on time, which is almost always next day, they're happy. That's just how I do it though. I don't like people calling bugging me, expecting their shyt. and I want my shyt! I was reading some reviews on that jacket, which are hard to find. not many folks have that jacket, but one said that it's his favorite out of the 3 he has. He said it's awesome for warm weather, and looks badass on.
I'm so sick of this over-sized Ballistic. and there just ain't no wearing the 1.5mm leather right now. I'd fall out at a red-light.

I finally picked it up yesterday! FINALLY!..so it turned out to be September anyway. I just got a run around until now.

here ya go. I need to get an action shot with it. It's so much more badass on. I'm lovin it. The camo areas are breathable, non-water absorbing mesh, so it's great in the heat. Another reason I got it in white.

nah, not for that jacket. I don't even think Alpinestars makes Sniper pants. It's just street protection during the hot days. It wears like leathers though. It fits like a glove.
