    EVEN MOST HONDA GUYS AT THE RECETRACK WILL TELL YOU TO RUN YAMALUBE

      i was going to go yamalube but i can't justify 12 bucks a quart i can go amsoil for less

            i got a 07 r6 it's coming up on it's 600 mile oil change and as i live in the middle of nowhere i wanna get it ordered so it's here when i need it

                it seems liek a lot of people are using the rotella 5w40 synthetic what you guys think of this and what do you use fuzo

                  I used Maxum full synthetic in my Hayabusa, I don't remember the weight, I'll look at it and re-post later. Typically you want a Full synthetic that DOES NOT say "energy conserving" or anything like that. When it does, there is a friction modifier in it that will mess with your clutch. In my VTX I'm using a Castrol full synthetic and it's fine. Alot of guys use the Mobil one Motorcycle oil, but like the Yamalube, it's F-ing expensive. Anyhow, long and short of it is that any full synthetic will do. There is a Yamaha R6 forum and message board where you can find the specific oils that other dudes with R6's specifically use
