I went to the local gas station. It's hot in FL so I took off my suit jacket. I forgot I'm carrying and have my shoulder holster on. A passing deputy pulls in and draws down on me. I try to show my ID but he seemed paranoid. I'm A guy wearing a suit and he thinks I'm a skell? Got held up for 15 minutes or so but tinned my way out. Leaving my jacket on from here on!

I am so well known in my area i can carry 3 or 4 all showing and no problems. So i am lucky i guess. But i have been there before. Theres no reason he should have treated you like that. I could see him pull up and pull his gun ask you for yours and then you show your permit and it over and done. Sounds like a rookie or just a jerk. But aren't most of them..

Yes,
Been there also. Its never a good feeling looking down the barrel of another gun. Most of them that overreact to things like that just want to put on a show in the first place.

also tho alot of them get killed so, they also deal with people everyday that kill other people and lie so its really hard to tell who is lieing and who is not i don;t think he was being a jerk what if you had been a gangster and shot him then he would have been f'ed for not checking got to look at it in there eye too broComment

arapahoe county sheriff tossed me in jail on christmas ev e for a gun on the floor of my truck...Basturd calls in reinforcements and they tore my truck apart looking for more shyt...charged me with "concealed weapon"...I said "Sir, how can it be concealed if you can see it?"..He replies "Part of the holster is under the seat"...got all charges dropped but they kept(stole) my $600 gun.Comment

I can carry anywhere. The deputy was young and inexperienced. He felt like a fool but played like he was doing his job.
Let me tell youanother thing carrying a handgun in your luggage has become a major project! You'll draw the SSSSSSSS on the bottom of your boarding pass which means you will be subject to hand frisking. The girl who frisked me grabbed my johnson several times. I asked her if she should buy me dinner now and i was scolded!
