The Rev. Jesse Jackson issued an apology to Barack Obama Wednesday after comments he made about the presidential candidate were picked up on an open microphone. After a Fox News interview on Sunday, Jackson said, "Barack, he's talking down to black people."

Nader and Jackson's comments come a few months after Obama cut ties with his former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., with whom he's seen here in 2005. Wright's fiery sermons about America were widely seen as divisive and unpatriotic. Wright, however, said criticism of his speeches were an attack on the black church.
