so...our computers been at best buy for 5 weeks or so...after all this time, instead of fixing, they just gave us a new one today

It's about time!!! Did they charge you anything? Anyways go buy your self an external hard drive so that you can backup the new files you will accumulate.

Right now my 50" Plasma is down. I paid the extra service (glad I did), but Best Buy has been here twice to replace boards inside to no avail. If they don't get it this next time.. I am gonna demand that they replace the TV. it has been down no for 5 weeks... maybe the 5 wks is the magic number.. I'll let ya know.

Just sux not have my living room TV up and running...

I went thru that for several days when the bulb went out on my LCD. It's some shyt when you get used to a 55", and have to throw an ole 25" regular tube beside it. Which reminds me...I've been meaning to get a replacement bulb to have on standby.

nope...they took what i had, then after listening to me getting louder and louder evertime they tried to jam an emachine down my throat, the manager agreed that it'd be best to hook me up with a gateway. things faster than shyt!! i had to get pretty loude and tie up about 3hrs of time, but it's worth it

oh it blew. It was neat to hear my wife verify how sweet the big tv is finally, but it sucked. I bytched here on fg the whole time,lol. It looked redneck as hell. I think I took a picture of it, or shoulda. It was worse than the newer tv set on top of the old broken console... ya ever seen that scenario?

that reminds me. I have a 2000 Gateway all boxed up that I could've Fed-ex'ed right up for the time being. It's old, but it works...better than nothing...sorta. Windows Mellinium...I hated that thing. My mom has a good Gateway desktop. Her new Vaio laptop is guess where?...Best Buy..."getting fixed"...I told her about your experience. They've been out of it for about a week or 2 now. That's just bullshyt. Shipping only takes a couple days. Repares only take 30 minutes, including reloading drivers and set-up. Best Buy's service dept needs chopped off at the knees, and restructured for true customer service. They're worse than Dell in 2003.

What kind of error message are you getting? If you have windows XP it should go automatically online and search for the drivers for you?
