I'm with Fuzo there as well. I would've loved to've seen Ron Paul get more 'everything' than he did, or does, but the media just didn't like him. He's not the enterprise that a candidate must be to gain that exposure. You can tell he writes his own stuff and does all his own work. What gets me is all the people, my folks included, that liked RP, but voted otherwise just because of the, 'he just doesn't have a chance' bs factor. And I'd like to pencil his name in, but I wouldn't like for the socialist to get in because McCain missed it by that much, ya know what I mean? McCain is better than the extreme left socialist.

And people think we're hated now?! Imagine if Ron Paul got in and began the path back to where we should be. Imagine the animosity that would come on strong then. But another strong point with Ron Paul is he will put it on their ass if they fuk with us.

I agree firstenergy but politicians will never listen and act until people stop voting for the lesser evil candidate. McCain may be slightly less evil than Obama but who cares; he's still evil or an idiot (doesn't matter the results are the same). A vote is an expression of support; there is not an essay section at the bottom of the ballot to explain that your vote was for the lesser evil; no people's lesser evil vote shows support for evil. And Americans wonder what happen to our country? They slowly voted it away. Most of them have compromised their principles away in favor of being able to compromise them away more slowly. I hear it every election cycle; I'm wasting my vote. I'm voting for what I believe in. People that are voting for people they oppose (but they oppose them less than the other person they really oppose) are truly wasting their vote and how they can tell themselves otherwise - I will never understand.


Can you imagine if Ron Paul received just 3% of the vote and he wasn't even on any of the state ballots? People will start paying attention and politicians will start trying to capture that vote.

Libertarians should not be voting with the goal to get a Libertarian in the oval office this election year; the goal should be to get us on the path so it can happen in a future election.
