so i came up with this idea not too long ago.... i kinda stole it from a book i had to study in college named "my X girlfriends naked" I am going to spend the next 5-10 years painting friends and acquaintances nude. I want to turn it into a documentary book bout the process of creating the book.
I am thinking 3-5 paintings of each model. i figure ill need a good 60 paintings or more. I want it to be an oversized hard cover book, kinda coffee table style book... with thick glossy paper. I will have a little paragraph or two about each model telling our relationship, how we met, became friends, dated, ect.... some are old girlfriends, X-wife, just friend, random friend i have made online.... and the list of willing participants continues to grow.
There is a pretty big interest in nudes in the art world and i have a somewhat unique style of watercolor painting, so i am hoping that by the time this comes about i will have achieved a little notoriety and there will be an interest in the book.
what are your guys thoughts? do you think that name "All my naked friends" sounds sleezy? I think its catchy and might attract some attention. i also like the name because the majority of the model will have some type of relationship to me... again, i will talk about that in the book.
