Got the iPhone 8GB

What a **** sweet piece of technology this phone really is. I paid $400 for the phone and another $100 to have it unlocked and fully jailbroken. Its a custom phone now. I'm able to use this ANYWHERE in the world that supports GSM.

I love my iPhone i don't hardly ever use my laptop anymore. What is this jailbreaking you speak of I haven't heard of that.

Unlocking iPhone and jailbreaking it is two different things. I suggest that you visit www.bostonunlockphone.com. Thats a store where I live specializing in unlocking/modifying iPhones.

If you have AT&T you do not need your phone to be unlocked. JailBreak YES. JailBreak will allow you to fully customize your iPhone with 3rd party applications. You can run and use different themes, tweak your phone any way you want it. Once your iPhone has been jailbroken you'll see an icon that says Installer. You click on installer and you can find all the applications, tweaks and much much more. Also JailBreak will unlock your iPhone so you can use any GSM carrier IN THE WORLD. This means if you go to Europe just put their SIM CARD inside and your iPhone will work.

they do look like pretty neato telephones.

I just like my phone to be a phone. The only option I must have is a planner with alarm/reminder. Other than that...just do what a phone does. I do have the thinnest flip phone in the U.S. though. The reason for that is I don't like to wear a phone clipped on my waist. I can put this thin one with internal antenna in my pocket. I like that.
My wife works in the corporate offices with a phone company so I gets mines on the low too.

It's a Samsung. M610, I think. It doesn't have the model written on it anywhere, and the only time I saw it was when I ordered it last year. It was a limited phone that they only had for a short period of time. I remember my wife telling me they didn't even offer that phone anymore like a month after I got it. I said, 'hm, I hope it's not becuase it's a pos." she said she's never had one complaint on this model. It's a badass phone though, and I've never had one issue with it. It does all kinds of stuff, and takes great pictures too...better than allot of cameras. And the little camera lens rotates around so you can take a picture of yourself with someone without turning the phone around. It has like a black, almost rubbery feeling powder coat. We were watching one of the last episodes of Entourage on HBO way back when, and what's his name...the lead dude, the actor, flips his phone open and he had my phone. So the coolest cat in the world according to that show uses my phone,lol...

did you find it and check it out? You'd have to hold it to appreciate the toughness of it. It's the most solid phone I've had. and I also have that I560 "military issue" or whatever, Nextel. And although that's a tuff phone, the Sprint has a much more solid feel, and that thin little phone has taken some drops like a champ and that coating doesn't have a mark on it. It still looks like the day I got it. Plus it helps to be able to carry it in your pocket. That's my thing now-days. If I can't tote it around in my pocket, I don't want it. I hate lugging a phone around on my belt.

I found it. I couldn't remember the megapixels, and didn't want to spout off something that's not true, but it is a little 2.0megapixel so it takes decent pictures...excellent for a camera. The screen is unbelievable as well.

i have 2.0 with iPhone and its very bright and clear. can't complain
