well the good ole usofa is really starting to bite the big one all the people that die for this country back in the day died for it to be a better country and its certainly not becoming a better country and its pissing me off!!!

All the people that died back in the day did so to be independant of England's rule. I don't care where you go bro, this is still the best country for opportunity. Just ask any immigrant.
The thing is, we get so wrapped up in what is wrong that we miss out on what could be right. If you could spend time with a legal immigrant when they first get here and see the excitement they have, it would blow you away. See, when they get here all they can think is 'wow'. By the time someone gets around to telling them it's not as great as they think it is.....it's too late.....they've already seen the benefits. Many of us born here don't think this country is a big deal. We didn't have to save up for most our lives to get here, we didn't have to learn a new language to survive here, we didn't have to break the law to get here, we were born and that was it. The immigrant that risks everything to come to this country looks at the opportunity in a different way. They have an investment in this country and therefore they are going to make something of it or die trying. That was the attitude of our forefathers and that is why they succeeded. Until the rest of us learn to adopt that attitude again, we will never be the 'great' country we once were. It will take all of us to have that attitude. I guarantee you, not one person that came over on those ships was a lazy or had some kind of attitude of entitlement. They came to work hard and make something out of nothing and they did it. There are too many lazy people in this country and too many people with this attitude of entitlement. They feel like someone owes them. No one owes us anything, we owe it to ourselves to go and get what we want.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

thats why u should vote for MCCAIN Byron. He will end this all. Pull the troops out, lower gas prices, fix fore closures and just will be one great happy country.Comment

I wouldn't wanna live anywhere else. That being said I kinda equate the US with ancient Rome. I believe our time as a super power will pass, if you look back throughout history, that's just what happens. The king of the hill doesn't remain king forever.Comment
