time for first mowing of the year and the lawnmower is being un-cooperative. gotta tear the carbureator open and try to clean and prime it i guess. unless a mouse got in there again and i'll have to clean the hell out of the beeyotch. gotta get the lawn mowed and get the deck and grill ready for mom's day cook out for my wife, my mom and my gram.

got it running but the throttle stays wide open. mowed my lawn all up but it was loud as fock and the mower was mad hot when i was done. i'm too much of a lawn **** to let anyone mow my lawn but me. i'll have the dude at the mower shop adjust the throttle on the carb.You may not recognize your mom when you get home, I shaved her back.

BD, brfore you put your mower up for the winter, try one of the following.
Either run all the gas out of the fuel system before storing it for the winter. This gets all the fuel out of the carb and stops it from becoming loaded with a varnish over the winte. Remove the spark plug and put a few drops of motor oil inthe cylinder, then put the started rope a couple of times. THis will put a thin film of oil on the cylinder walls and help stop them from rusting.
Or you can get a product called Stabile (sp). Put htis in the fuel and run it for a few minutes to make sure it gets all through the fuel system. This will stop the fuel from leaving varnish deposits in the carb and should make it start easier after a quick tune up,ie: oil change,filter cleaning,etc,. Hope this will help you out for next year.Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!

We know how you feel BD. My husband's mower stopped running, and he completely gave it the boot. Now we are using my mower... the only problem is we have three lawns to mow in three different counties!!! My house is 30 miles away for our new place. Btw... it hasn't been mowed in two weeks and looks like it's been abandoned. Gees... I hope it sells soon.Comment
