I think hush is part owned by the same people as cyber...or at least taht is what I heard...

Hush sucks and is not that well encrypted and secured. Used them both hush and cyber. Ziplip used to be hands down the best.

yup, thats whats happened to me several times and i lose all my friends addresses

All the bust several months ago, cyber-rights folded. Of course there is probably some fine print some where saying not to use for illegal activity.

I've been with mailvault for about 6 years now. No problems/no fees.

You can check out operamail, as well.

with hushmail you can alos pay the fee to reinstate your account if you do not logon within the period. i had to do this as all my contacts were in the account and i did not want to start another. sucks now as every year they get for the fee.

It probably wouldn't be a full time job for 2 people to read every email that passes through the "secures".
The most popular email services with billions of hits daily are just fine.
