Hello all, just wondering if anybody here has been affected at work by our wonderful booming economy? I myself have recently lost my position at work Those bastards just pulled me right in the office, and said flat out, "well because our economy is struggling, we are forced to rid you of your current postion" That is exactly what they said. But i have the opportunity to seek another position... but still this sucks major ass, ****it. SO.... anybody else here affected, or somebody at your place of employment affected by it?

dude....dont get me started!!! i got 2 biz's that are flopping like a fish on the deck. i have a kid wanting to go to college that i just cant seem to find the money for. i have employee's i need to make payroll for and i BARELY squeek by every payroll. i spend 150.00 a week in gas for my personal drive, but my deisel fuel bill would blow your mind (think THOUSANDS a week). i got equipment going down everytime i turn around with bills in the thousands and today....i'm just waiting to go to work to see what other monumental bullshyt i can throw on top of the shyt i'm carrian on my back....
honestly thou...sorry to here about your position being sniped. i hope they got something else you can do and not take a big hit to your paycheck! good luck bro

I think everybody is being effected by this...the govt is wasting money at a record pace...gas prices are hitting $3.50/gallon...the war is costing trillions...groceries are skyrocketing...people are scared...wtf is happening top this country????

We're all in the same boat. Last sprint my husband and I bought a new place, remodeled it and moved. We were both single, and we got married in December. We put our houses on the market in February of last year and neither one of them have sold. We are now making THREE house payments. He lived in a different state than me, so now my commute is twice as far. I'm pay three time more in gas. I've been trying for two year to find a new job closer to home, but no body is hiring. I can't quit because I still have the house to pay for.

Then there is my husband's business which is struggling. Last year was his best year ever. Over the holiday's it completely died, and it's been slow ever since. He's barely making enough to pay his business loans, and there's been nothing left to pay himself. Yes.... we are feeling the crunch too.

Isnt bush a republican ?? He has been saying for some time that the economy is strong LOL . I think it was just last month that he said something like the economy is going through a tough time but is getting better, it was the first time I have heard him ever saying anything was wrong with it. the guy is a riot

I agree Merc...the guys a regualar comedian...I voted for him twice so i have a right to rip him...this country is 100x worse off than we this bufoon took over..I know, I know...some peeps will say it wasnt all his fault..ok, but he's shown no leadership skills and he is a clown.

we need a major change in our gov. the party that is for a smaller more efficient government has had the biggest exponetial growth and expenditures on record (yes there is a war i know, should have gone in there nuked it and drilled through the glass for the oil)

yep economy sucks for us all. i am in a sales job that is commision only. Nobody can afford anything so they don't buy and not only that I have to travel, so I am spending around $150 for gas a week. So I am going in the negative when I travel to make a sale and get there and nobody buys.

defintely in a recession and it's freakin scary to us all. what hurts us even more is that when people lose their jobs, houses, can not pay bills etc. It all comes back to us all again sometime in making up for this fall. We can only do what we can to get by. Hopefully in times of need there is family and friends to assist. God know you can't rely on govmt.
