    Who likes soccer (football) here ???

    Space just started a thread about baseball, I'll do the same for soccer (football in other countries)

    I don't want to hear negative comments saying SOCCER sucks

    I'm a big time soccer fan, always been my family is mostly Italian and French...and my other families all come from Europe....I've been to many LIVE soccer matches and the atmosphere is mind blowing compared to MLB, NFL, NBA, etc. We don't know how to phucking chant, we never will.

    I personally like to watch and follow UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup, English Premier League, Spanish League - Serie A (Italy) and Bundesliga (Germany).

    watch it every now and then...there was no soccer here played here much at all few years back, now its everywhere in all the schools etc.
    If bigger is better then im better than ever !

        it depends on what you were raised on. It is hard to acquire a taste for soccer when you have never been around it. To the avg american, it is dull, but it is probably the most popular sport on earth as far as participants and fans. I think when you see a score like 1-0 for a 4 hour soccer match, Americans are saying "wtf?"...now if the score is like 14-13 we would be "How cool!"

            DUDE I'D RATHER GO TO A LIBRARY AND READ THEN TO WATCH SOCCER. NER BEEN AROUND IT. BUT WHEN I WAS A KID PLAYED BASEBALL FOR 7 YRS.I PLAYED 1ST BASE ALL 7 YRS.

                          Futball is the best sport in the world hands down. Many americans don't like it simply cus america is the most obiese country in the world....lol...americans i think would love the sport if they ate fast food while playing! lol. You actually have to be in really good shape to play soccer...many people think its really easy and anyone can play, but thats not the case. It will never be as popular in the US as it is in the entire world. Only in USA you have a sport where a 300lb fat ass can play a professional sport...baseball. HAHA, now thats a sport thats definetely really boring to watch.

                            I love futbol!!! Manchester United, AC Milan, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Lyons and a few others are some of my favorite teams. Unfortunately I don't pay attention to the European league as I used to. The European Cup is this year right?

                              well...i agree baseball sucks. i also agree soccer players have to be in great shape. i also think hockey players must be in great shape (my sport of choise). but, i still find the sport boring and it's prob. a result of not being exposed to it that i have no intrest in it. i'll take a hockey game over a soccer game any day!
