OK, I manned up and paid for everything. It was a dumb question that even asked. I didnt mind. Especially since she got the tickets from a friend and they were $125. We were 4 rows behind the players bench. We had a blast and the little girls were lots of fun. I didnt mind her having the kids and I didnt mind paying. I swear I dont know how familiues can affored to go to pro sports events. Anyway, as for the girl. Well, my freijedn and I have totally diff tastes in women. She was average at best and nowhere near as hot as my friend described, but a nice girl and it was fun. Our team won, too. Dangit that the girl wasnt a big hit.
I think that more focus needs to be put on fairness to the kids here. No offense but I mean, if she is taking them out on a first "date" with you, how many other "dates" have they been on. I think it is very irresponsible on her part to be introducing her kids to a man/men without even knowing them herself. Kids become attached very quickly, and it seems apparent that she has no problem bringing men in and out of their lives.
Plus, what happens if you go on a few dates? Will they be used against you, or as leverage? The classic "how could you let my children get attached to you" "How could you just walk away from little Jamie and Joseph". LoL!!! Tread Lightly.

I guess the reason I even asked the question is that this girl has hounded me now for two weeks. First she invited me to vegas with her 2 weeks ago and I couldnt go,. She has invited me to other events and I turned it down. This time, she really was on my case about going to theis basketball game. I honestly wasnt in the moood for it...but I went am glad I did. My thinking was "****, Im really not interested in this chick but I guess I will go" I just wish I was spending money on a chick I have a future with. She was the 3rd date I had this weekend. Yes, dating several chicks is expensive, but I have to do it or be alone..lol...and NO, I am not a chaeap bastyard U bast urds..Lmao..
Yeah, I guess after reading your posts, it was kinda forward for her to bring the girls. I thought that too, but I just never did feel she was going to be my type. Like Mak2102 said, bringing the kids along on the 1st date, it makes you wonder. I feel sorry for any single mom that is looking for a good man. It has to be hard for her. I know we will remain good friends. She is a cool person. I hope I dont seem shallow makin an issue of not being attracted to her. I do think that is important, Im sure you would agree.

HAHA. I dont think youre in the wrong for anything and as long as she explains to her children that You are a friend and not someone there is ever a chance to them waking up to whether it be once, on the weekends, or every day.....then I think you are good. I just really think she is playing with fire by bringing guys into her kids lives in that manner. What if you guys didnt like each other...at ALL...how awkward would that have been for the kiddos. Or even worse, and I know youre not but.....what if you would have been some psycho stalker maniac? LoL

Doc, Ive known you for a long time now.. and I know what kind of person you are.... I know your not cheap..... I know exactly how you feel cause you and I have had a lot of the same stories abotu women and dating and stuff and I can always relate to what your going through... dating IS expensive, and if youre like me, then its not about being cheap, its about spending your money and time on someone that your pretty sure isnt going to go anywhere anyway... older women are sometimes soooo pushy about going out with you that you finally will just give in and go out with them once, and then you realize it was a waste of your time and money that you could have spent on someone you really wanted to be with... I know you know what i mean...

Schiz, thanks so much for that. Yes, you are 100% spot on there. That is exactly what I was thinking. I didnt mind paying for the other two dates on saturday, because I dug both those chicks. I spent over $120 in gas just driving to the big city on saturday and sunday from my little farmhouse. I spent a lot of money this weekend on just dates.When I settle down and have a girlfriend,I will pay for dinner every time. I always have. This chick was sooooo pushy!!!...I did just give in to her pleading..I think oldr chicks get really desperate. its sad. Plus, my friend described me to her as a dream catch,...LOL..now thats funny...lol

Then, she throws that "My kids love you" crap at you. Being a parent myself, I'm VERY leary who I bring my kids around. It just made me think, what kind of woman brings her 2 kids on a first date?
