Superman....

So around 4:30 this afternoon, one of the coordinators of the biggest festival for children in town comes into my office and sits down. He asked me if I planned on going to the event this year. Our company puts the whole thing together and so on. From organization, to events, the whole 9...it's put on by the company I work for. Anyway, I hadn't really planned on going, but I was thinking about taking my daughter to check it out. He said the event is tailored just for kids her age. Then he got to the point and says, "we need a superman"..and said that he suggested to the others on the committee that I be superman and they were all for it, so it was on me. I could see that...me in a superman get up.

I bet some pics of that would be nice to get a hold of, lmao

yeah, I'm really thinking about it. Superman has been my daughter's favorite hero by a long shot since she saw the latest movie on HBO when she was about a year old. She's 3 in-a-half now. She'd flip out. Like if you told her about this festival and all the fun things, as soon as you say "and Superman will be there"...she'd be all about it. That's all you'd hear. "I'm ready to see superman. Let's go meet superman." You wouldn't want to even mention s-man until you were on the way. But wouldn't that be awesome. She's going to meet superman, and finds out daddy is superman. At that age, that'd be one of those 1st memories that'd be with her forever.

I've almost decided to do it. If not for the whole children's day thing, but mainly because I'd be my daughter's hero. I mean of coarse I'm her dad and hero that way, but at her age, she'd literally think "my daddy's superman"...after imagining her face and reaction...yeah...I'm thinking about putting that goofy get-up on for a day,lol.
