I just find it sad that they are using the olympics as a propaganda tools, I know many athletes that are training for these games and I see so much fools saying we should boycott.
Tibet is a sad story, everyone should read fire under the snow, it was written by a tibetan monk who spent like 30 years in communist prisons.
but history is history, why do we whine about it, it is just hypocrisy, same as the palestinian and so on, land is land, it is getting conquered lost, gain this is what made our world. As for Tibet, the reason china invaded was for expansion of land, but also to , what they said 'take the feudalism out of their asian brothers' which at the time, yes tibet was a thousand years behind.
no only this, but at the time they invanded, troubles was brewing in india, the chinese wanted a buffer zone between them, they knew one day they would clash with them
